Lesson Focus
Styles
Head voice, chest voice, mixing, belting, vibrato, breathing/airflow-driven singing, navigating passaggios (transition points in the voice), acting/communicating, and
vocal health.
Opera, Musical Theater, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and Belting.
Lesson Structure
Lessons will be sixty minutes long.
The first twenty minutes will be spent warming up the voice and doing vocal exercises. Each vocal exercise is specifically designed to improve functionality of the voice and the understanding of the voice by the student.
The remaining portion of the lesson will be focused on applying the techniques introduced in the vocal exercises to the student's musical repertoire.
